Add your favorite small business—or other local places—on Walk Score for a chance to win $500 to shop locally. From small-town, main-street shopping hubs to walkable urban streets, share boutiques, tiny retail shops, book stores, yoga studios, garden stores, bike shops, toy stores, cafes, restaurants, walkable retail hubs—you name it.

How to Win $500 to Holiday Shop Locally

  1. Add photos of places to Walk Score via our iPhone app or site.
  2. Include “#walkshop” tag in the comment/description field for each photo you add.
  3. Increase your chance of winning by adding photos of more places.

Winner Selected December 10

  1. One winner will be selected at random on December 10.
  2. Walk Score will notify winner by email. Visa gift card loaded with $500 will be mailed to the winner during the second week of December 2012.

Terms: Begins November 15 and runs through end of December 9, 2012 (Pacific Standard Time). No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. The more places (i.e., boutiques, cafes, etc.) you add photos to (with comments tagged #walkshop), the greater your chance of winning. You can either add photos of new or existing places on Walk Score. Note: Adding multiple photos of the same place will not increase odds of winning. Photos and comments must comply with Walk Score community guidelines.

Winner will be contacted by Walk Score via email. Visa gift card will be mailed either by US mail or FedEx. Use the Visa card anywhere it is accepted. Walk Score cannot guarantee every local business will accept Visa.
