My Favorite Coffee Shop is Missing!
Today we launched a new feature that lets you add and remove places from the Walk Score map. Don’t see your favorite coffee shop when you look up your Walk Score? Click the “Something Missing” link above the left-hand column to add it!
How does it work? Walk Score places come from Google Maps. Although Google knows everything about you, they don’t know your neighborhood as well as you do. When you click the “Something Missing” link on Walk Score, we make it easy to submit your new place to Google Maps. We update your Walk Score as soon as Google accepts your new place (usually after a few minutes). Google has an automated spam filter as well as a team of human moderators that review these changes. Go humans!
